On the way to the Lake District we stopped at Morecambe, this is a view of the Winter Gardens and Woolworths
The view across the bay is as impressive as ever.
This is the refurbished Stone Jetty with the Midland Hotel in the background,this is now being renovated by Urban Splash.
The following day we went to Tarn Hows where there were still some daffodills in flower.

We stopped at Morecambe on the way home, this is a creation on the Promenade where the Central Pier used to be.

We did not have any snow on St. David's Day but on Thursday 2nd March we awoke to a covering of snow. Although Cadi was not keen she still managed her usual walk in the Quarry on the Little Orme at Lunchtime

On the way home from Bristol we decided to have a look at the Long Mynd in Shropshire just south of Shrewsbury,we were glad it was not at the weekend as the road is only single track.
