Morecambe

On the way to the Lake District we stopped at Morecambe, this is a view of the Winter Gardens and Woolworths

The view across the bay is as impressive as ever.

This is the refurbished Stone Jetty with the Midland Hotel in the background, this is now being renovated by Urban Splash.

The following day we went to Tarn Hows where there were still some daffodills in flower.

This is the traditional view of Tarn Hows.

This is a zoom shot of the Langdale Pikes.

We stopped at Morecambe on the way home, this is a creation on the Promenade where the Central Pier used to be.

Another view across the bay, and the tide is in, this is from the end of Thornton Road where there used to be a shelter.

This is from the same place looking towards Bare. The Broadway Hotel is on the right and Happy Mount Park on the left.
